(Noun) Globo sapiens are wise, global citizens willing to think critically and to assume responsibility for their impact on communities and the planet (Kelly, 2008). Finnish futurist Pentti Malaska's original concept was Globo persona sapiens (1997). Humans and non-humans would eventually merge into a new, hybrid, internet progenitor “with superior intelligence and wisdom”.

Usage: Becoming Globo sapiens calls for values and behaviour changes that are deeply threatening to some on personal and/or professional levels.
