1. Of, relating to, or being in accordance with the psychoanalytic theories and practices of Sigmund Freud.2. A person who adsheres to Freud's theories or uses Freud's methods in psychoanalysis.
3. Roger Blake. The American Dictionary of Adult Sexual Terms (1964): ' Sensual; suggestive of passion in the pleasurable sense. This term derives from the emphasis placed on sex by Dr. Sigmund Freud, the father of psychoanalysis, and the originator of the theory that all energy is sex energy, and most of it must be sublimated or diverted to more productive and acceptable channels.'
