A behavioral pattern of promiscuity in a woman motivated by a desire to control and manipulate men and render them weak and helpless. The term is borrowed from the the Old Testament (Judges 16) in which Delilah betrays her lover, Samson, to the Philistines by cutting off his hair thus depriving him of his strength.
