Consecrate

Definition

(Verb) To be made holy. Usually the term applies to the old Tabernacle and Jewish Temples, when the items used in them were consecrated. Since the Tabernacle and the Temples aren't needed anymore, because of Jesus, (and to rebuild one would be an insult, because it would mean Jesus didn't cover all of our sins by dying for us) the term now applies to Jesus making us holy, and consecrating us to Him.
