Definition
(Noun) A single celled organism of Phylum Protista. It is body has the shape of a barrel with hard plates covering its sides which taper to spikes on the posterior and jagged teeth on the anterior. The lines where the plates meet along the sides form a grid. It moves quickly using cilia and rotating laterally to allow the jagged teeth to tear into its food.
