(Noun) A member of the genus Canis {a common wolf} that has been domesticated by man since prehistoric times; occurs in many breeds of dogs.Usage: E=mc 2 was not invented. It was discovered, and Einstein discoevered it. Ginger is a genius of her genus. She is the best there is of Canis Familiari, and Alice is the best of her litter.
