Beaurevoir rate
(Noun) Beaurevoir is a village in the Aisne in Picardy, in the canton of Catelet on the border of the Scheldt
The castle, built about 1310, has undergone many seats.
It was demolished by Louis XIV but the watch tower, called Tower Jeanne d 'Arc. remains.
The Pucelle, captured by a bastard of Vendôme, military on the service John II of Luxembourg, Count of Ligny (1392-1440)was held prisoner in the watchtower during four months in 1430 before being delivered to the English.
This monument has been ranked by a decree of December 10, 1920
